Something has changed over what Moyes was being told 2 weeks ago and now, what is that exactly. Hard to say but clear as day something has.

I think that might be reading a bit too much into to be honest. At face value he just appears to be saying money is a little bit tighter than he expected and he's found it a little bit more difficult to find players than he thought. I think it's perfectly plausible that he's had a conversation with the owners a few weeks ago where they've effectively said 'we've still got PSR issues but there's scope there to do a few deals this window' and he just hasn't fully grasped the reality of what those deals would actually be until he's fully got into it. Some people seem to be stretching a bit and bending his words to suit a narrative rather than just looking what he actually says.

If we win tomorrow, it's like we would be 8-9 points clear. If we lose we could be as little as 3 points clear. That may well impact on whether we try and do any panic scenarios at the last minute as well.

I still think we send Broja back and take a loan from Chelsea, unless Ferguson becomes available.
