Moyes didn't look chuffed in the press conference and it looks to be over transfer choices like Alacaraz that he probably didn't make. Then there's a briefed journalist like Boyland (briefed by whom?) saying this is premature.

Someone making a point that a signing was made 3 hours after he said he was still searching maybe?

There are no leaks mate, Everton are like any other club, that's football. Sometimes deals like this happen. I didn't know this deal was happening until I seen news regarding it. Checked it out, Flamengo have gone a 'little' premature on it but its advanced.

How do you know Moyes didn't know about this signing, would you brag we've got one in when it hasn't even been completed yet ? C'mon Dave talk sense, " massive ego took a knock indeed ". Why would Moyes drop his guard and leave himself to look foolish to the whole World by saying we've got Alcarez, deals fall through all the time, why warn West Ham or anyone else, common sense really mate.

Haven’t we been told numerous times from various sources, that the manager has to sign off on every play we sign?. First example Dyche saying no to various players. I just can’t see the club signing anyone without moyes approval.
