Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Tim was especially a good runner with the ball, although we were leaking goals early on I think he was contributing to us looking better attacking wise.

Hopefully get them back in a couple of weeks, missed them both this season
Hopefully he replaces Doucs in the midfield three... Garner is useful on the ball too it is bad luck to lose both to injuries at the same time. We could do with another midfielder too as we have players coming out of contract this summer

Yep, it's going to need us to be creative with very little money to play with I reckon. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Harrison won't be going anywhere as Dyche absolutely loves him. Talks about him being the model pro, tactically brilliant at taking on information, 2 footed, just lacking in belief in the final moments blah blah blah.

BUT saying that, I was hopeful (stupid me) that we would try and get 2 in as soon as the window opened and not let games just drift on by. We have 1 match winner as things stand (Ndiaye), we going to need either someone else to step up (Broja?) or sign another one, otherwise we are right up crap street for the duration of the 2nd half of the season.
Harrison is 2 footed only thing is his right foot is just for standing on have no idea why such a one footed player plays on the wrong side of the pitch and please dont say he cuts in on his left and bends 25 yarders in

Who is passing to these fast wingers and not passes to feet, in behind to utilise their speed? Doucs and Gueye aren't that's for sure.

We have 5 central midfielders....plus Dyche never really plays with his midfielders like like......one of the many reasons I want him gone.

I know nothing about him, but looks like a deeper lying midfielder.

Not too dissimilar to macallister. Deep playing midfielder that can score goals and provide assists. Difficult to say if he would be a success in the pl...at 7 millions is probably a risk worth taken, but anything more and you could end up losing money.

I think we need a bit more creativity in middle,we're very one dimensional it seems.

Full back are absolutely imperative for me.

Thats exaclty what this manager wants though.

Any creaivity we have will come from wingers and centre back / keeper hoofs.

Any good centre mid will be watsed, so we wont get one under him.

We have 5 centreal midfielders, none leaving so we wont add a 6th.
