I think we need permanent signings this month not loans

We are going to need to sign about 8-10 players in the summer when everyone's contract has expired or the loans go back.

2 permanent by Thursday please so they are registered for the weekend.

If we can for me esp striker would be because dcl\ beto both could be gone next season. So bringing in another now would make sense.

We needed additions before the injuries so we certainly need them now .

I think it's all going to happen on deadline day . It's frustrating that Clubs seem to wait until the very end to do deals. I know they may save a few quid by doing this, however surely for the ones that are fighting relegation or pushing for Europe then getting the players in early in January gives the team a better chance with what they are trying to achieve.

I think we will only leave it til then if we are confident we have solid numbers for the Leicester game.

If it turns out that Mangala and DCL can’t play that game then I think we might push for a striker before then in particular although Mangala replacement could probably wait if Garner or Tim are fit

Strikers are expensive and he had absolutely zero budget most of the time. Andy Johnson was a relative, Yakubu was a big success until his injury, Saha was a big success. I think you're holding him to an impossible standard. Since he left we have signed one decent striker, Lukaku and that extremely lucky because Bobby BS didn't even want him. He wanted Demba Ba.

That''s not true. Only from 2009 onward was the spending drastically cut. Up to that point Moyes got almost every penny raised in sales.

He simply didn't have an eye for a striker and he always misused the ones he did get, forcing them to run channels all day.
