Everton January transfer window 2021

Knowing Levy he'll come up with a ridiculous figure to take him on loan hoping that after PSG tried to get Ali in the Summer they may stump the cash up in Jan.

Yes I mean that sounds like the sort of thing he would try, but I really doubt anybody is going to bite. He endedup losing Eriksen for a relative pittance on that basis, and the whole world know he is negotiating from a week position on Alli.

We also know Brands has negotiated down Watford, Napoli, Juventus etc who were extremely difficult negotiations, often for central payers they had who were key to us. In Dele Alli, he's by no means key, and we hold a lot of the cards if the interest is serious.

Levy will probably leak some stuff about taking tough, but the reality is, he will do well to cover his wages for 18 months. Thats as good as he can get, get him in the shop window for 18 months, and hopefully get a decent fee at the end of it when he still has 2 years to run.

The alternative is he continues to rot, and in the summer of 2021 he is scraping the barrel even more for a buyer/loaner.

I wonder if it means Tosun is going in January. I've seen some talk to Hulk too. There may be something in a striker coming in. I also wonder if Alli makes sense, as he can cover CF as well.

...I think Alli does make sense as he gets alongside and beyond the striker more so than the likes of Sigurdsson. Thinking about partnerships and blend, you’d imagine a runner into the space behind the back-four would be ideal for Rodriguez’s vision.

Just had a look over on RAWK and they are worried about our links with Ali

Very worried.

Why?

Are they not organising a solidarity march on various places of worship to complain about gods negative influence on their squad this season? What with covid19 and the injury crisis they’re suffering being a direct manifestation of devine influence against them.....

Dele Alli, 233 PL games, 64 goals, 56 assists, so a goal about every 3 games (3.6) and an assist about every 4 games (4.1) It's not the best record on paper when you think of the hype that has surrounded him at times. It's still a better record that Barkleys though and some people are desperate for him to come back.

Carlo is built to manage players that need to feel special. On that basis and that basis alone, I would be really open to a six-month loan with option to buy on Dele.

If anyone is going to get him going, it's the gentle Papa Don.

We really need an extra quality attacking player in the event DCL goes down (I know different players but need depth regardless).

Last season we were a CM on loan away from pushing for Europe. Did Marcel act? No.

Why would it be any different this season?

Barkley adds other things, I'm not sure Alli does.
