By definition of top class we wont be signing someone of that calibre to sit on the bench.

Think Carlo will want to see what Gbamin can do as well before he decides to shell out on a long term CM.

Judging by Carlo's cheeky comment Its nailed on Khedira until the end of the season and if he isnt a crock / does well he'll probably get offered a 1-2 year deal like Thiago Silva at Chelsea.

Obviously if Gbamin is crocked/finished we may sign another CM in the summer providing we qualify for Europe and need a bigger squad of quality.

People suggesting we buy a CM cos Allan is out for a few weeks is madness also.

The squad, numbers-wise is fine.

So as always, Outs will determine Ins.

We have 2 "first team" players we didn't even name in the squad.

We need to shred before we add.

Preaching to the converted bruv.
The only time we add will be when the likes of Bolasie Tosun et al ffs ....are off the wage bill.
We've more defenders than you could shake a stick at.
Mid field pretty much covered when all are fit & available.
We need some firepower up front , anything happens to Dom or the even off form Richy and we're in trouble.
Got to strengthen up top.
 
Right now we have plenty defenders on top form plus Branthwaite, Nkounkou and Small.

We only need to bring back Besic and Bolasie.

Don't forget that Pennington can play rb and centre too, so besically we will sign no one :p

I think were quite safe to say Besic and Bolasie will be gone in Jan.

In addition there should be an exodus of players prior to their contracts expiring in summer 2021 and 2022.

I believe its 16 names, though 2 or 3 we would seek to hold onto.

So, there will be 13/14 outgoings in the next 4 windows.

Ideally incomings should be gradual over the next 4 windows.
