No chance we could afford lamptey in January. But if they go down Brighton have a number of players that will be picked offAarons or Lamptey in Jan please. Bin Tosun to WBA and get a striker in on loan
Do you think that would be a signing that would help us challenge for the league?Seen the links to Demarai Gray. I guess we would have to sell Bernard to get someone like that in, he is mostly a LW, I think he is a good player, faster than Bernard and I think we need more pace in the squad
Remember what Carlo said after the summer window? Doesn't want any player that hesitates in saying 'yes' immediately.https://princerupertstower.com/2020...eady-offer-everton-waiting-offers-arrive-psg/
“In fact, according to French publication Le10 Sport, Alli already has an offer on the table from Everton but the Englishman is waiting for any other offer to arrive. The report claims that he doesn’t find a future with the Toffees very exciting and would wait for an offer coming from outside of England.”
Steer well clear of this idiot who thinks he’s too good for us.
Mulikele sorry

For me that's a bad recruitment policy. We need to find the right players otherwise we'll just be overloaded with players that are a little better than what we have and won't progress us that far. Any potential upgrade needs to be significantly sufficient enough for us to challenge in other words. Gray would just be another average signing.I think he's better than what we have also the January he signed for Leicester they won the league, he could be our good luck charm
Our first team are solid, but we need depth. Gray would give us some energy and pace off the bench so I’d be happy with himDo you think that would be a signing that would help us challenge for the league?
No.Adding to the Frimpong discussion, again not very familiar with him specifically, but broadening the discussion such a profile is partially more informative to the value and or quality of prospect I think wise to target this market. Frimpong based on his origin league and or doubts in some aspects in his game comes at less than the standard rate for a valued prospect. That said there is clear pedigree despite fair concerns (Man City youth prospect, flashes etc). The likely investment amount though likely warrants the outcome of him becoming just a squad player and or to be sold in the near future for a marginal profit. And the plus is a starter fetched for below such a cost.
To me especially in Jan the around 16 million engaging prospects Brands might fancy can be justified and sought after. Or paying a bit more for a youth team flyer we rate, something he relied on at PSV. The squad is fairly assuring, and more prestige prospects can be justified with bigger outbounds in the summer. Investing a bit more for the tier below that in winter with exciting prospects who can afford to end up simply rotation players personally seems a wise approach both in asset diversity but also for the team moving forward.
We can get better players than Gray who'd give is energy and pace. It's obvious we need energy and pace but we need better quality to drive and execute it to the highest standard. Our first team are solid, but we need depth.
