Just checked and Aarons is the same height as Seamus Coleman. he looks smaller on the telly! Or maybe the Wiki entry is incorrect ! Not seen much of him but he looks a tidy footballer and likes to get forward
Ya I just checked him out on YouTube and he seemed shortish for some reason.. but tough and quick enough... as long as he can cross a ball his height wouldn’t be any issue but deffo wouldn’t add to our set piece strength

“In fact, according to French publication Le10 Sport, Alli already has an offer on the table from Everton but the Englishman is waiting for any other offer to arrive. The report claims that he doesn’t find a future with the Toffees very exciting and would wait for an offer coming from outside of England.”

Steer well clear of this idiot who thinks he’s too good for us.
Seriously, if they still are "hoping" he comes here then that goes against everything Ancelotti has said he wants about people at the club. F him, overrated nothing of a player.

deffo add him to the list.. decent stats too..and he is a unit as said above.. and at his age would be a ready made starter.. RB is THE position we need to solve for the long term sooner rather than later

don’t know how these valuations work. Aarons is 15th most valuable RB.. Dest seems to be spoken of in some forums edit: never mind Dest.. see recent move to to Barca..
Haven’t a clue, just mentioned Dumfries, because I knew he was big and there has been a few links. Could be just a Dutch/PSV link with Brands

Our first team are solid, but we need depth. Gray would give us some energy and pace off the bench so I’d be happy with him
Turned down a new deal from us because he was told by Brendan that he would be used in that exact role, off the bench for the last 20-30 minutes or so, never really starting and only a cover player

It is why I find the links to yourselves and Spurs ridiculous because he isn't going to push anyone out of the starting line ups, so will just be the same role he would have if he stayed here, wouldn't suprise me if he ends up at like Newcastle or Palace or someone like that where he will play week in week out

He is very underwhelming, basically the exact same player we bought almost 5 years ago, has barely developed at all, he is quick and got good skill but he just runs with head down and his final ball is never really there, also loves to try and bang one in from 30 yards off the left wing after doing it once against Man Utd 4 years ago, don't think he has managed to score like that again

If he were 20 he'd be worth signing but at 24 and having spent time at a club that usually gets the talent out of players if it is there I just don't see the point.

In the Burnley section:
"a midfielder is high on the priority list with Everton's Fabian Delph and Nottingham Forest's Joe Worrall both seen as attainable targets."

Burnley having no money and spending what little they have on a player who spends more time injured is just crazy.

This is one of those "draw players and teams out of a hat" newspaper articles. Delph is injured, probably going nowhere now. Outside bet would be a loan move somewhere on deadline day. The same article says Jack Cork could be sold. Despite him signing a new contract last week. And we are looking to sell Mina. Utter drivel.

Khedira would be another in a long list of shortsighted moves. And while some people think that it is ok because Usmanov is behind everything and the money will never run out, it doesn't make it not a problem from a footballing perspective. Great teams aren't build on players on their last contract.

We would not be built on that either.

We would have one player on their last contract.

James and Allan are very unlikely to sign another deal at this level. It isn't a bad thing when you're adding quality but you need a core of younger guys. We have very few. Even Doucoure is closer to the old category.

We need another forward DCL needs a rest at times
In that regard assuming we dont retain Kean come summer, with the number of fixtures DCL will likely still play I wonder if we could afford to go more prospect driven if thats a circled position of priority. This is a very analytic heavy pick but Adolfo Gaich comes to mind with the level of overlap in profile with DCL. Granted he looks off the mark this season (no goals in 13 showings) but such being the case a deal could likely be struck on a reasonable fee for a player touted only months ago. Similarly I think Christos Tzolis might be a congruent sub in style with Richi. Been in good form this year due for a move. Granted these are potential lesser quality than what would be desired by many, but considering both our players frequency potentially considerable.

I haven't really seen Gaich play but I know he's been rated for a bit now questionable ancestry aside. It wouldn't be the worst idea but really we should have been in for him before he went to Russia. I think if we're really looking for a DCL clone we should get En-Nesyri from Sevilla. But that seems less cheap.

I've no idea about the Greek lad but he seems to get goals in Europe at 18 so that's something.
