Wouldn't mind Khedira at all really. He's a quality midfielder. Biggest concern with him is his injury history in last couple of years, not his age imo. To have a guy with that much experience and quality in rotation would be big.

Maybe for a bit of guile and an old head to be added to the squad, but old heads inevitably come with old legs which aren't conducive to this league!!

Perhaps, but if it's for 20 mins per game when we're ahead it could prove invaluable to have a guy like that just to close up the game.

While his legs are not the fastest anymore, he has more than solid head. If his wages are reasonable, should get him.

They'll be extortionate wages and for 20mins a game I'd not be keen. His experience would be useful but is the juice worth the squeeze?

Depends how much money he asks. As I said, if it's wages proportional to team status, should be a good signing. If not, we should look elsewhere.

Also, Pogba is out of contract next year. Would it be a realistic transfer target for Everton? It's not like United have better chances at silverware or Europe than Everton, that's for sure. At least not as long as that clown is managing them. On the other hand, pretty sure Everton can't match his wages.

We need to be targeting much better than him, so when Richarlison is out, or out of form we can have somebody who can make a difference, same with James or DCL. I’d go after depay, ok might be difficult to convince him, but going cheap in January and yes we all know he can be a bit of a tit, but he’s a class player and miles better than gray. And he can play across the front 3 positions.

I do understand what you're saying, but parking the bus under Mourinho's tenure in utd or not knowing what to play at all under OGS (like most of the utd players) hardly plays to his strengths. His time at Juve was borderline amazing and he always produces for the French NT. But there's a clear system at work in those teams. Can draw a parallel with most of Everton players this year under Ancelotti compared to managers before him. Even the guys you rightfully loathe are starting to turn up for the games now that their role is clearly defined and they finally have a system in place that plays to their strengths instead of dreams of the manager.

Also, I strongly disagree on United being in the conversation for the biggest club in the world.

Will sound a bit mad but Isco and Sami K would be my targets, huge name players with massive wealth of experience and are WINNERS this is our best chance since Moyes to get top 4, an getting 2 winners to add to James and Allan will really shift the squad mentality, Bolasie can sign for a new club in Jan so use some of his wages for them. Try and get Southampton to buy Walcott off us.
