I’d probably add DCL to that list. Not irreplaceable but for where we are I think we’d struggle to get the same standard in.

Don’t think you are being fair to DCL there friend. He is 23, still improving and joint second high scorer in the league (not to mention being english). I think he is pretty irreplaceable at this point. I love James, but would actually place him 4th or 5th in our current squad behind Richey, DCL, Digne and maybe Allan. Keane and Doucoure not far off of that group.

Do know enough English that when someone says they don't mean disrespect, its disrespect. The Athletic have linked us to Weghorst and Mateta, not sure the former would want to come here and be back up, Mateta would be make more sense as he's young, and been linked a few times since Brands came in

I think you’re getting the wrong end of the stick Friend. I’m saying we have 4 players we could not sell, of which DCL is one of.

I don’t think anyone is irreplaceable, but those four (DCL, Alan, James & Richarlison) would be very difficult to replace. I actually think Digne is more replaceable than those 4. IMO it’s the system that suits him as much as his talent.
