I agree about Ancelotti, but Under the previous Managers, we ain’t buying any of the best players they bought.
And it would still take a lot to convince top players at the right age to join, especially if one or two of the top 6 are also in the hunt

Thats my point, the likes of mane and firmino were not top players when they bought them

Mane had just come off a great season. And rumour was Utd came in for him
Late on. And Firmino was well known and been linked to a lot of top clubs. At the time both cost big money, they weren’t 10mil buys

I believe the same window we spent similar on Bolasie as what they did on mane. Says it all

He is a defensive midfielder, but I think he will be a beast as a center-back. Has played there for Vålerenga in Norway. Regardless, he has most of the qualities that the top clubs are looking for. He is 1.95 cm tall and weighs 96 kg. Has good technique and game understanding. In addition, he is fast, and there are few players who manage to run from him. He will not be cheap.

Sorry but this argument is silly. It’s not Roms fault he was surrounded by lesser players here for example. Same with Gana.

That would require being able to play defense, which he does not do well.
