“Buying” May be the operative word though. Nothing about loans .... and unusually for us, we don’t have any loanees yet this season

They spent 40 on Mane, we spent 25 on Bolasie. His wage packet is probabaly 50% higher too, and there is no way we could have attracted Mane over Liverpool/United.

These examples are always difficult though. I mean we could say we bough Calvert Lewin, Digne, Richarlinson, Brainthwaite, Nkounkou & James for what they paid for Keita. There's always good and bad transfers.

Correct. Liverpool have done well, but it's not hard to build a side from a side that's already the byproduct of hundreds of millions of spending prior.

Doubt it but if so would be shocking considering the position in the table we are in.

We never achieve anything as we never take the gamble - who's ever truly achieved anything noteworthy in life without taking some form of risk/gamble.

It is the usual stance of the club. Last year we added Branthwaite, and although he ended up playing, I sure it was never intended.

There may be some outgoings, but probably no major incomings.

Loans may be possible, but I doubt any PL team would consider loaning to us because we’re competitive. They would have to by from abroad.

I do think we'll bring 1-2 in but its the nature of the deals - if we spent £20+ million on a decent back up CF/wide player then I could accept a loan deal for an ageing Khedira for example but if we just bring in an uninspiring loan or cheap signing who isn't going to help the squad then its pointless doing business all together imo.

The club isn't going to have a better chance of getting back into Europe when we are 4th and could be 2nd by end of tonight - go get 1-2 solid additions in and punt the likes of Bernard and Tosun.
