So, Allan.
Isn’t Allan injured with no definite date for return?
Hammys are notoriously difficult to recover from and need time and patience.

So, Allan.
Mate, we will agree to differ on this one
But a question, if we miss champions league, and lose Rico our best player, someone we should be building the team around, who would you replace him with so we don’t go backwards
RB.
Coleman
Holgate
Godfrey
Kenny
Meanwhile
CF.
DCL
& an off form Richy
We should be bringing in a forward.

He’s not lost a leg.
Have you ever tried to walk/run with a torn hammy?
Are you suggesting he’ll never play for us again?
Ha Jesus. Alright then Sir Buzzkillington of Buzzkillingville.no he hasn’t, they have a salary cap now
I wouldn’t want Zaha now. But had he been bought him in the summer he wouid have started probably half the games this season and come off the bench in the rest, with the injuries/suspensions to Richarlison and James.Saka or Martinelli from Arsenal.
Colemans contract expires in 2022...injuries and inconsistency are creeping in now.
Holgate / Godfrey are centre backs or utility players. Even if we class both as good enough at right back (under the current system) you always need an attacking full back as an option.
Kenny clearly isnt considered good enough.
Theres an opportunity for us to bring in a right back now...there are a few available and rather than waiting till mid-end of summer we should be bringing one in now.
If you want to be a top side then you need to cover the 'unfashionable' positions....
A top right back would start, Zaha wouldnt.
CF: DCL / Richarlison / Kean / Tosun....and Zaha....
Not for me.
We need a (good) goalie, RB, creative Midfielder who is also box to box and does everything, and a forward who can play across the line.
we also need to sell/shift about 10 players
They likely will.Anyone who has looked at our accounts knows we won’t be lumping that sort of money on a 28/29 year old whose main attribute is pace - would just be repeating the same short termism that has got us into the ffp predicament we’re going to find ourselves in when covid finally ends.
Am hoping brands can pull some rabbits out of the hat - when he arrived i was looking forward to seeing us acquire some relative unknowns and turn them into world beaters but there’s been a sparse return in that area - generally when we’ve bought foreign players they’ve been physically not suited to the premier league. Hopefully he’s learnt from his mistakes.
Not sure if brexit work permit issues will knacker any of those plans mind.

And I’d imagine Ancelotti would have rested DCL a couple of times. We need At least 4 top class attackers for those 3 positions, playing 50 games a season, Liverpool have been incredibly lucky to have their front 3 fit and playing virtually every game for the last 3yrs
