Gueye pls

(on loan obvs)

Would actually prefer Draxler for that creative ball-carrying midfielder

Gueye would, conceivably, be GREAT for us in that role until end of the year.

Draxler has been the biggest hype man ever. I just don't even know what he's done to get ANY of the hype his name generates. Brandt is twice the player he is and, yet, Draxler usually started for the German NT.

Lundstrum is into the last 6 months of his contract and could possibly be poached now for a small fee - he’s 27 and had one good season in the the prem. he’s suffered this season along with his entire team. Just curious if people would prefer him to Khedira

I think you are going to see a lot of this, from most top teams, and opportunities for well timed loans to become available. If Khedira comes in, there's no need for Gueye. But Draxler could be interesting.

I'd rather try for Gueye on loan than spunk money on Khedira, like.

But really I'm nea, just miss the little man.

Draxler would definitely have something to prove. Spot for the Euros etc, and he's a good ball carrier, which is actually what I think we need in midfield - someone to drop in and get on the ball.

Yeah I mean I do agree on Draxler, definitely never world class. Does have skills that our midfield sorely lacks, however!

Draxler's career has gone down the toilet. I live in Germany, and this lad is basically considered a symbol for this failed generation of players - technically good, but highly overrated, entitled, and pampered. Germany has produced a lot of technical players in recent years and almost all of them lack the famed never-say die mentality and in-game intelligence that made German players the most effective in the world. Joshua Kimmich is probably the only German player of this generation that stands comparison with the great players of the past. Draxler, Sane, Kehrer (another amazingly overrated PSG player), and the two lads at Chelsea are all in danger of simply passing through, making their millions, and being quickly forgotten. Havertz, in particular, still has time on his side, but Draxler doesn't. Put it this way: while he would be a more eye-catching signing than fellow German Sami Khedira, he isn't a quarter of the player Khedira was at the same age.

A great player for us but unfortunately Rose is now finished at a decent level in the P/L.
You are very wrong that Spurs wouldn't let him leave for Everton, pin head Levy would personally drive him to you and Rose being finished is the reason why Newcastle didn't extend the loan last season.
It's a RB we need urgently....and we should be playing nkounkou.

Haven’t seen Khedira play that much so I don’t know what he would bring to the team, but I thought Brands was brought in to sign young players who turned into great players?

I really thought we’d have signed some good young players by now who could make the step up.

What’s your view of Khedira mate?
