This is going to get people going but we should take Danny Rose off Spurs. Playing without a true left back is ridiculous, Carlo won't play Nkounkou and Spurs would give him away at this point. Get him in on loan, pay his wages for 6 months and any time Digne isn't available at least we have a real PL LB to play in the position. Personally think it is a more sensible idea than Khedira.

Spurs are not loaning us anyone.

A great player for us but unfortunately Rose is now finished at a decent level in the P/L.
You are very wrong that Spurs wouldn't let him leave for Everton, pin head Levy would personally drive him to you and Rose being finished is the reason why Newcastle didn't extend the loan last season.

If Brands has the money and decides not to spend but thinks Tosun is an adequate back up forward for the leagues top scorer then I despair. I do also get that options may be limited but then I also find it very hard to believe there isn’t a decent enough striker out there available who is a better option than Tosun, I mean, when he’s on the pitch it’s literally like we are down to 10 men, he’s that shocking.

A striker that hasn’t scored a League goal for our club in almost two years and offers nothing else isn’t what a club looking to play consistently in Europe needs.

And why is he getting game time at all? He’s utter cack

This is it, the opportunity is there, but also the need.

We've done so well not to have a covid isolation so far and let's hope that carries on, but it's unlikely. Add in our dreadful injury record (dodgy medical team), fixture pile ups, etc, and we simply need players.

But then because of all of the above also impacing other teams, as we've seen, the chance is there to go and do something this year.

For me the annoyance is that in that regard nothing has changed since October, so we should have made moves then, too. Rather than put it off and rely on the January window.

I think you are going to see a lot of this, from most top teams, and opportunities for well timed loans to become available. If Khedira comes in, there's no need for Gueye. But Draxler could be interesting.

100% Draxler if we could loan him for remainder of season on try then buy. He, Douc and Allan with James and Rich (if he can up his mood) either side would be amazing. Shift some deadwood and finance a real striker to rotate with DCL and we are back in business.
