This is going to get people going but we should take Danny Rose off Spurs. Playing without a true left back is ridiculous, Carlo won't play Nkounkou and Spurs would give him away at this point. Get him in on loan, pay his wages for 6 months and any time Digne isn't available at least we have a real PL LB to play in the position. Personally think it is a more sensible idea than Khedira.

I would be interested to see Godfrey as a box to box midfielder, does not stop running and obviously a good tackler, unsure of his final pass or cross though, I've also forgot about gbadmin

Godfrey is all action. Not sure about the subtlety, touch, passing range, positional sence to be a midfielder

I see priority being:

1- A defensively minded centre mid, allowing Allan/Daccoure to be a bit more ambitious.

2 - A starting right back, Coleman is done, but clearly better than Kenny in the mind. When he picks two goalies rather than a RB on the bench it's safe to say you're looking for a club.

3 - A Tosun replacement.

We may manage to shift Tosun and Bernard (from the big earners) this window but the rest may have to wait until summer.

Crazy to think as recently as November we REALLY missed Iwobi last night.

I saw someone mention on here yesterday that maybe we are signing Olsen to free up a loan spot and tbh could see that being the case.

Doubt we'll have the funds/ability FFP wise to spend big this window so maybe he'll look to bring in Khedira + another loan like Isco until the seasons end..

Rose is gonna want big wages, is injury prone, 30/31 and has hardly played.

I get your point, but it would feel like the Khedira deal - i.e. a. bit daft.

Spurs didn't even entertain a bid for their 3rd choice GK. Danny Levi is a nightmare to deal with at the best of times,even moreso now we're direct competition with Spurs for a potential CL spot.

i agree with the posters who think we should dip into the cream of the championship players this window. getting fed up with us signing established players looking for their last big pay cheque and then resting on their laurels. let's bring some players in with a hunger and ambition to push on.

Akin to furlough. Its part of being a squad player i think you'll find. Agree though at least 5 players need rid of and sharpish.
