I agree we're definitely in need of a ball carrier , I can't remember which game maybe Leeds where Allen had to adopt that role because no one was making any dribbles down the center of the pitch. maybe a solid defensive mid and decoure or allen can play more offensive if we can't recruit that type of player

Cahill joined us when we were a struggling team. And his options was us or palace.
And he never left for a bigger team challenging at the time.

DCL joined at 19 as a punt, 90% of them transfers go the other way.

Richarlison was huge money for a 20yr old kid. Being touted around as a Brazilian international of the future. Maximum was less than half the price , a cheap punt for the champions league teams if they fancied him.

Maximum is 24 in 2 months has got 4 goals in 34 games and never won a cap for France. Admittedly France are a very good side. He definitely wouldn’t walk into our team, he’s not good enough to kick us on.

Still not a lot of ability on the ball. And Again out of that 3 still not one that really sits in front of the back 4.

That gives us so much energy in the middle of the park - something that we've desperately lacked.

Richarlison got 5 goals in his first season at Watford and we spent 35 mil on him, Sometimes players just need good players around him to do better like Richarlison, Saint Maximim is playing with Jonjo Shelvey and Jeff Hendrick.

We need a forward player as well, think thats clear as day. Cant rely on our front 3 to play every game. Personally I would love Zaha but realistically his cost would be ridiculous given his age. If we can bring in a cm, rb and a forward the squad starts to look very strong across each position.

There isn't enough creativity or goals in that midfield 3 and our back four in that system.

He is a ripping it up in the Championship plus rumoured to be available for £8m.

Attracting attention from a lot of clubs so we could nab a wonderkid before he end up paying 5 times as much.
