Mkhitaryan, brilliant at Dortmund, before he sighed Lukaku wasn’t great at Utd. Sanchez struggled. Now van de beek. Not always the player.

That second line -

"Life in England was a bit difficult. It is not easy for a South American. Some people get on fine, and for others it is harder to adapt."

"It wasn't reasonable to stay.My family wasn’t happy. My daughter was suffering. So it was important to leave."

He also had a break-in at his home.

There's a few reasons but it's just not gonna happen. For one, he plays in the exact same role Ancelotti seemingly wants James to fill.

Di Maria is a great player, but he's been in Paris for five, going on six years. Can't see him, at 33, being the ideal signing for us. Huge wages, was a flop in this league and didn't like living in the area. While he'd undoubtedly prefer playing for Carlo than he did LvG, think it's a bit pie in the sky - and also would be a strange move from us.

We've got James, Allan. We shouldn't be looking at signing players into their 30s really. There's a big difference between getting a 32/33-yr-old and a 28/29-yr-old

Walsh spent £45m on Sig and £25m on Keane that had 12 months left on his deal.

Unbelievable that Walsh still gets defended. Him and Koeman are the reasons we’re looking around for loans now rather then splashing out big money. They’ve set the club back 5 years. Williams, Bolasie, Schneiderlin, Klaassen, Siggurdson, Martina, Pickford, Keane, Lookman, Vlasic, Tosun, Walcott. Whilst he sold Stones Barkley Deulofeu Lukaku. 100s of millions down the drain and our Crown Jewels gone. Some people really must hate Marcel Brands to be bigging up that divvy Walsh.

I like to look of Reading's Michael Olise.

He is a ripping it up in the Championship plus rumoured to be available for £8m.

Attracting attention from a lot of clubs so we could nab a wonderkid before he end up paying 5 times as much.

If the £8m fee is accurate it would just be a matter of getting him to agree to a modest wage.

Combine his arrival with the departure of any one of Bolasie, Besic or Delph and not only is the squad improved but also the payroll pressure is eased. If he turns out to be a viable option anywhere in midfield then that means he's better than Davies, Gomes, Bernard and/or Gylfi.

Seems a low-risk option, with decent potential.
