He hasn't been getting much game time mate so match fitness could be an issue. Also, he looks like a little porker!

I'm not even saying we were in for him this year. Don't have a clue. But really, a player of that quality - it'd have been nice if we did try again.
Regardless, I didn't mean it in that sense. Just meant that I never got why some of our fans seem to think he wouldn't improved us.
Dunno who we need now - but it has to be someone far better than Iwobi and far more physical than Bernard (who played well today, but we all know he isn't a forward).
Doubt that player's gonna be available in January, mind.

yet last season, in his prime, he had 5 and 2 assistclearly not good enough. 1 good season in his 8 year career

massively crap, an attacker who doesn’t score or create. What more could you ask for
He's already matched that this season. The previous season he had a direct hand in 20 league goals (10 goals, 10 assists).
DCL is class, but we can also say that having a player like Zaha would help us massively.
I know it's academic now. He's not coming here so it's fine, would have just been nice to see us go for him in the summer and add quality on top of the quality players we do have.
Imagine not having to play Gylfi or Iwobi if we get one injury or suspension.

I would rather Zaha than waste another £200 million on duds like Gomes, Tosun, Bernard, Sandro, Kean hoping we strike lucky on some unearthed Suarez
