United: ‘we want you in the team but you need to understand we have Fernandes Pogba Van Der Beek, Fred, McTominay all ahead of you.

Everton: ‘we have two midfielders of any note whatsoever and one of them is injured all the time, we also pay ridiculously stupid wages’

Tough choice that for a player who wants to play football.
I wonder if James being here might be a pull for him. But not sure if Ecuador and Colombia have that much of a connection.

We’ve got quite a good South American contingent and treated them quite well. That said United obviously had Valencia as a star for a while just when this lad was probably growing up.

It’s all stepping stones and money now isn’t it. He’s probably more likely to come to us, play games, then get a big transfer at that point to either United or a top Spanish team if he’s at that level. A win for him, win for his agent, and if he performs well it’s a win for us.

Obviously a long shot, but if we get CL, and we pay nice wages

With Carlo here I think we would have a decent chance at getting Donnarumma

Wouldn't be long term as his agent loves moving players about, but CL football in the most watched league in the world under Ancelotti is a good deal

Hes been brilliant this season

I suggested Sirigu & Joronen in the summer, Sirigu has had his first average season in a long time and Joronen has continued his great form from Serie A in the division below
Everyone you have suggested directly exceeds my spelling capabilities. For that reason I am out

Piffel. Like saying a Scotsman might join a club because they have a renowned Welshman. Not having it. Transfers and football don't function on sentiment!!

They will weirdly also make an accounting/FFP profit on the deal as well, despite realistically losing 25m.

Madness.
Simon Jordan was explaining on talk sport earlier saying it’s not a loss as it goes on contract length. He was saying a player loses a million pound a month valuation for eg haller cost £45m on a 4 and half year contract and has played out x amount of months which leaves his value at £25m

Tosun being linked with a move back to Palace, Besiktas like him, but cant even afford his wages, so he seems more likely to go to WBA, Palace.

They also don't have to pay his wages for the remainder of his contract.

Imagine a race where the prize was Cenk Tosun....

Well yeah, it might be the case if they were joining a South American club? And it's not the sole reason for joining, it would just help them settle moving to a completely different continent at a young age
