United: ‘we want you in the team but you need to understand we have Fernandes Pogba Van Der Beek, Fred, McTominay all ahead of you.

Everton: ‘we have two midfielders of any note whatsoever and one of them is injured all the time, we also pay ridiculously stupid wages’

Tough choice that for a player who wants to play football.

That is it really. For a smart young player, you look at where you get opportunities. It's why, potentially at least, the Atlanta deal may be potentially persuasive. First team football, an education etc.

Also factor in, you get to speak to Ancelotti, or OGS.

Simon Jordan was explaining on talk sport earlier saying it’s not a loss as it goes on contract length. He was saying a player loses a million pound a month valuation for eg haller cost £45m on a 4 and half year contract and has played out x amount of months which leaves his value at £25m
I get that. They are treated as assets that are "depreciated" over their useful life i.e. their contract. So if he is two years in, he's almost half his value. Selling for 25m therefore might mean a profit on disposal!

In reality though it's a massive loss just dressed up nicely. But gives us hope for if we sell Siggy for 2 million it could almost be a profit! Haha

Quick maths, but.

Iceland = 13.5 book price
18months at 100k a week
Anything over 5.5m would be a "profit".

Imagine a race where the prize was Cenk Tosun....
I imagine him being one of the utterly awful prizes in the penultimate round on Bullseye, Bully's Prize Board:

iiiiiin one, it's a £15 voucher for Ethal Austin

iiiiiiiiiin two, it's a trip for two to the Pyramid shopping arcade in Birkenhead

iiiiiin three, it's a season-long loan of Turkish international Cenk Tosun

Ha! When he was ruining Palace we depreciated the value of his signings by 75% at half time on their debut.
