Throw the chequebook at Palace for Wilf.

Allan Doucoure
James
Zaha DCL Richarlison

Should have always been the plan in the summer. If only I was DOF we would be sorted right now.

The last few games has shown just how much we need someone like him. DCL has had no service at all.
Zaha is very good at holding the ball until others come into play, and also breaking from midfield with the ball.
The only issue is how to fit him into Carlo’s system with DCL, Richarlison and Rodriguez playing as a front 3.

Play rod as a free role number 10 ... with dacoure and allan as CMs who are both defensive and positive

Where are we for the likes of youri tielemans. How do leicester end up with a complete midfielder and we end up with the likes of iwobi for around the same price.
Really annoying.
Not quite the same price, one was 28 the other was 40, and tielemans dropped of a cliff last season, to the point where Rodgers left him out at times. Still got a bit more to do imo to justify his price tag

Well everytime i see him play he impresses me. Their whole midfield just look comfortable in what they do. Harvey barnes being another.
Then i watch ours. And its quite painful.

I get the Zaha shouts but after a summer of spending money with very little long term vision it would be really nice if we could take a step back and sign someone with a long term future (ie worth giving a second 5 year contract to if they play well) and also the possibility of some return on investment if necessary. Zaha isn't that good where we can't find similar or better production with way smarter use of funds.

The thing is, ok Leicester have got one or two players missing this season, including ndidi, who’s a very good player. But fir the previous 2 seasons they’ve hardly had any injuries. So it’s easier to build a rapport and partnerships.

we have had some really bad injuries across our midfield for the last couple of seasons. Though I grant most of them wouldn’t get a game for Leicester. This year we’ve got 2 new midfielders, it’s going to take time to gel. And we’re still missing another piece.

Siggurdsson, Gomes, Davies and Delph aren’t good enough for that 3rd spot. The blend definitely isn’t right. Will Gbamin help that? Let’s hope he does.
