BAYERN, EVERTON IN ZIRKZEE TALKS

Bayern Munich and Everton are in talks over the transfer to Merseyside of 19-year old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to Sky in Germany.

They are reporting that the two clubs have discussed an initial loan deal, with an obligation to buy the young striker in the summer.

Negotiations, however have stalled over the Bundesliga Champions’ demands for a £10m transfer fee to make the move permanent.

Insiders at Everton have dismiss the reports for this window, saying they are not currently pursuing the player.

We signed a Championship playera few months back mate haha.

Technically he wasn't as he didn't play there. Did he ever play there? Genuinely don't know if he did for them.

*edit* he WAS! played 3 matches for them this year before we bought him and 31 in 18/19.

My point stands, Championship players are usually better punts than "established pros" from the Premier League. Gylfi and Bolasie spring to mind.

Williams £12m , loan then contract expired.

Soon to go-
Bolasie £27m, contract will expire.
Besic £4m, contract will expire.

More or less £100m of investment with only £2m return. Madness.

I suspect Tosun will be added to that list and it will be up to £127m.

Can’t ever go down this route again. It could end the club. No January punts please. Only rock solid first team buys.
