Lots of young, hungry players in the lower leagues. They just don't satisfy the "must be flashy" group for signings.

James Justin & Maddison last night, Watkins, Konsa & Cash at Villa, Eze at Palace, Bowen at West Ham, Che Adams at Saints.

That Justin at Leicester looks a player ,seemingly he can play both FB positions
However he did not stand out when he played against us recently
That Forfana CB had a good game as well ,although Chelsea looked a bit toothless in attack

To be fair you could argue that none of them really count as coming from the Championship. I mean two of them literally didn't, and the other had just played the most recent season in the PL. I assume the poster meant more along the lines of some of the players nymzee has named, players who are performing well in the Championship and are being asked to step up a level and go straight into the side.

Recall them if we need them, Gibson will probably get a year or 2 extension if he impresses on loan

Trouble is, he hasn't featured in the matchday squad for Reading since playing as a LB in mid December. I don't think he's injured.

If he's fit his loan needs cancelling and a club who need a left sided CB should take him.

We paid decent money (6 or 7 mil as I recall) and need to see something back.

3m max for gibson, not 6-7mill for an academy player. That 3m would have been appearance based as well not just a flat 3.

Season and table the way it is, there's a good opportunity there for us to take advantage. Is it likely to be this way next season? Don't know, probably not.

I meant thats what we paid for him.
