Atletico Madrid play a deep defense.

They certainly dont...if you notice when they play its 442 or 352 and the full backs in the 442 consistently make it almost like a 2224 system when they attack.

The tactics we're employing right now are suited to our defence and what we have now. This is what Ancelotti does tactically, he plays to our teams strengths, he doesn't have a "philosophy" that he rigidly sticks to.

Totally agree with this...i used to love Italian football in the 90s so am more than happy to keep playing this style.

We would need to add in one or two more players so the forwards arent isolated though.

I see Danny Ings is stalling in signing a new contract , word is there could be other clubs interested ?

Jose's teams from Porto, Chelsea (at times), Inter, Madrid (v Real mostly), United and Spurs.

Personally I don't think we do have a deep defence. I'd say mid range similar to At Madrid, we too have wing backs who push in Digne and Coleman.

We set up accordingly against the opposition which surprise surprise means we are doing better under a coach who has technical ability than Martinez, Koeman, Fat Sam and Silva.
