who is signing him for 100m? The only teams that pay that amount are real, athletico, Barca and PSG. Barca are skint , real don’t have money , PSG have Neymar and mbappe , and athletico have only spent that type of money once . Nobody in the prem is paying that . Add in the fact that he has never scored 20 goals and his assists are very low and the fact he’s been crap this season and I don’t see anyone paying 70m for him tbh
Maybe read my post, didn’t I say Barca are skint at this moment. Chelsea just paid 80 for Havertz. Arsenal paid 72 for Pepe. They haven’t scored 20 goals either. Zaha has only got double figure goals once yet palace wanted 80 mil and would still probably want 60. Wolves think they will get 70-ish for Traore who’s got like one goal and one assist in 30 games .

I’m just comparing prices for similar players, who I think Richarlison is better than. Amd like I mentioned I think you’re underestimating the value of a Brazilian striker for the Spanish clubs

Just looked at Gravenberch and his agent is Raiola.

Reckon we could possibly sign him if we allow his other client Kean to leave. I think Raiola would have no problem with him coming here but like Haaland, he would probably insist on a release clause after 3 years, or a minimum release clause so he can move him to a bigger club if they are interested.

I would have no problem with this as it means he would be doing very well.

He blasted us a bit this summer. "Why would I ever go to Everton, its cold it rains and the food is terrible" basically.
He's obviously never heard of the Lobster Pot.

Cant see much changing myself...

These days the game is all about image and ego for many owners...so the cycle continues.

How much would we get from 4th and champions league?
We want additions mate , but this stage we wont be spending big money on an 18 year old midfielder in January.
But i think we'll see a forward come in ( for a lot less money ) as we are woefully short up top.

Doubt we're even a remote chance at signing gravenberch. Seems like just a throw away answer by brands to praise Ajax and their Dutch youth setup and as he said it's unlikely he would pay us interest anyway.

Tbh wasnt really thinking of him this window...more so the summer depending on where we finish.

It just doesn't make sense to me, why would he leave a team that he is starting in, Top of the league, mid season, to play in a side fighting for 4th place in the Premier league? I kind of feel this is an agent trying to get a player a better contract.

Oh I completely agree and think its just paper talk. Not sure its for a better contract as the artical refers to a bid we've already made so ac would know about that though.

I think we've seen the last of £100m plus transfers for a while Zat. I really believe that, going forward, covid is going to have a much bigger effect on football than people realise. There will be a big re-adjustment in player valuations simply because clubs haven't got the money.

Ironically, Everton are one of the few clubs in the top 20 that don't rely much on match day income, so in theory we should be less affected than most.
Agreed. COVID has ravaged football finances. We saw it in summer with us getting James from Madrid.
I also think Allan would have cost more pre COVID.
Let’s hope we can turn it to our advantage.

Its not the first time dzeko has said that, we were linked with him under Koeman and he said the same thing, at the time I was a bit on the fence with him anyway as he was over 30.
