He seems like a decent player, still very young, but he's playing games for AC, they are top of the league why would he want to leave and why would AC sell him for what they paid for him 2 years ago?

I get what you are saying but if we were after him while we had brands then their is some consistency to the rumor at least. Like us and Doucoure for example.

Doesn't the article say that they want more then what they paid for him?

If he has a strong finish then, then over a 100. I think the link with Barcelona and Brazilian forwards will hopefully work in our favour. But they are skint so hopefully we can keep for a couple of more seasons.

who is signing him for 100m? The only teams that pay that amount are real, athletico, Barca and PSG. Barca are skint , real don’t have money , PSG have Neymar and mbappe , and athletico have only spent that type of money once . Nobody in the prem is paying that . Add in the fact that he has never scored 20 goals and his assists are very low and the fact he’s been crap this season and I don’t see anyone paying 70m for him tbh

My view would be;

1) Both are too expensive
2) Both would want European, probably CL football
3) Ancelotti prioritised immediate improvements.

2 of the above 3 could be changed by the summer.

It just doesn't make sense to me, why would he leave a team that he is starting in, Top of the league, mid season, to play in a side fighting for 4th place in the Premier league? I kind of feel this is an agent trying to get a player a better contract.

I hope we don't go for ings, Southampton are gonna want a massive fee, even if he's in his 18 months of his deal becuase if they go down it will cost them a fortune. Then he will want a huge contract and is a massive injury risk
