A few factors really

if he carries on with poor form for the remainder of the season and then wants to leave. I’m thinking maybe 85/90 With plenty of add ons.

If he has a strong finish then, then over a 100. I think the link with Barcelona and Brazilian forwards will hopefully work in our favour. But they are skint so hopefully we can keep for a couple of more seasons.

If we haven’t started to challenge and get champions league football. He will leave, I’m thinking after the 2022 World Cup when hopefully he has a great tournament.

Id go along with that. Summer 2022 unless were in the top 4 I wouldnt be surprised if he left.

Also i think he really wants to play CF as its his ticket into the Brazil starting 11.

I do think next season we may well go 2 up top.

Not negative lid, it’s not negative to see past trends and realise that we don’t take advantage of certain situations.

I am first to say there’s something special that can happen here this season but you find the fact I want us to push on as negative when really it’s positive.

We have a great manager another positive who we should trust and back now to push us on.

Mate - people need to stop living in the past with this “we could of” - it’s not BK anymore it’s moshiri/usmanov/ and the DON good thing are coming if we want to spend we will basically that. Carlo knows what he wants and needs or doesn’t.
 
Brands mentioning Gravenberch is a strange one. If he feels that strongly about his talent we have a good chance of picking him up. We can afford the money, most other top teams are targeting other areas and Barca/Real are skint. How many big teams will pay that money for an 18 year old to go straight into the first team?

We could offer him the chance to showcase his talent in the PL and after 3-4 years when the finances arnt as bad in football, he could get his big move

I wouldn't sell for less than £90+ million which is why I doubt he will be going anywhere unless the club have already agreed with the player to let him go if we dont get CL football.

I think if anyone offers around £75 million they may agree to let him go which is a shame.

Didnt he big up Ihatteran from PSV last year too. No one has took a punt on him yet , only 18 years old.
Stopped watching Dutch footie so wouldnt know how either are doing this season.

Makes no sense to me...

Two 18 year olds our DOF rates highly, we have the cash so why not bring them both in?

Its not as if we have either of those two positions filled long term.
