We dont need both...if we could sell one and bring in loan i think it would be a good move.

I mean, we, right at this moment, do quite clearly need both, because we aren't going to be able to bring in a midfielder on loan right now which guarantees us an improvement on either of them.

Like it or not, Carlo likes Gylfi, because the lad knows how to manage a game. Not saying he always does it, but from a technical stand point he is and always has been a very good player.

Gomes is the one fit midfielder we have who is actually decent at retaining possession in tight spaces. The other is James who is seen as a forward and Allan who is injured.

You just can't overhaul your squad completely in the middle of the season.

We need a forward in. That's the priority. We're far too short up top. Get that player in, then getting rid of Bernard, Tosun etc is fine, and gives us options to play different systems too.

It was a tactic that was used because we didn't have a midfield and it would of worked if we hadn't had a calamity in goal.

Leicester were like a monkey with a unloaded gun, they looked dangerous but weren't going to hurt anyone. They weren't carving us open at will and pickford wasn't having to make worldie after worldie. They had 5 shots on target and all were very simple saves for the keeper. We had the best chances and we should of won.

Or would you prefer we played open and expansive football with a midfield of Tom, gomes and james. Then we could of gotten completely ripped apart and lost 3-0 but hey at least we played nice football.

Brighton play nice football they don't have the players to play nice football but they play that way anyway... Their 17th.

We played that way because we had to play that way mate. When we have the players to play more attacking and expansive football we will. When we have our squad fully fit we can go back to playing like we did at the start of the season but hopefully with the defensively solidity of our recent form.

I know its not pretty but its getting points on the board and with us playing so many games in quick succession thats what counts atm.
A monkey with an unloaded gun haha

Monday is going to be hectic I can see, there’s going to be denials and coyness after the game and the rest of the weekend then bang, a name comes right out of left field on Monday morning

Deals must be done with Bernard and Tosun with them not on the bench today. Should free up wages to see someone incoming in next few days

Could be a huge opportunity lost to get top 6 this year, needed one or two new faces this month could be costly by the end of the season

TINDALL EXPECTS KING TO STAY

Bournemouth
boss Jason Tindall has told Sky Sports he expects Norwegian forward Josh King to remain at the Vitality Stadium this month.

"He [King] said to me today that he's staying here until the end of the season," said Tindall, following the Cherries' 3-1 defeat to Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

"That's great news for us and I'm sure Josh will be looking to do extremely well for us from now until the end of the season."

Not looking like King is on his way yet
