I think there’s a fine balance to strike to today between getting someone in to purely make up the numbers and getting in quality that can affect the squad. I do worry if no forward options come in at all and it leaves us paper thin and it would be typical Everton for Richy or DCL to get injured after the window closes. Fingers crossed we pull something off we’re going to need it.

Not sure where that figure came from tbh. He must be on about 30k at Bournemouth, no club on earth is paying him 4x that.

Supposedly on £65k a week at Bournemouth mate. The £120k a week was reported from when West Ham were looking at him, they said his wage demands were in other words ridiculous.

As badly as we need players in, its quality players that we need. We've just loaned out or given away players that cost us around 100million quid in transfer fees plus wages. If the right players arent available then I fully support not getting in garbo and having to repeat this cycle in 12 months time.

That type of player other clubs don't let go in January mate, unless that is you're willing to fork out big bucks.
