If we don’t bring anybody in today to improve the attacking options, then I think it’s fair to say the club have no real ambitions for the season, so no point in being arsed about it if they aren’t.

We have enough players to cover right back, left back and centre backs comfortably.

If Allan is nowhere near returning and we are going to persist with Davies / Gylfi or Gomes axis of evil as partners for Dacoure, then we can’t realistically expect much more than mid table anyway as all 3 of them are seriously finished as PL footballers. Gomes could do a job off the bench but the other 2 are absolutely useless.

An injury to DCL or Richy weakens an already pretty impotent attacking force too.
 
It looks like Bernard or Gordon to go out on loan currently.

I wonder what the relationship is with 1 coming in. I.E are we happy to be net down (so if Perisic comes in, we can get Gordon out on loan too).

I'd be happy if Perisic came in here.

Top 4 is up for grabs this season.

The club should realise that.
