We have so little quality and nobody brought in to address depth in our squad that we are effectively going to be playing with 13 players for the rest of the season? We had literally everyone fit except for Allan for the Newcastle game and were absolutely pushed around for most of the time. How is that an effective way to challenge for Europe as is the remit for this year?

....nobody seemed to complain a few weeks ago when we were on a run and pushing top four with games in hand. It’s a funny old game.

To play devils advocate a bit here Fred, Gordon is ready to step up. Simms might be but we are prioritising his development with a loan. Onyango/Simms could be as well.

We're talking about the attacking options in our squad for the rest of the season. We have 5 for 3 positions which already includes Gordon. Simms is out on loan and Onyangu is a midfielder. We're down to bare bones Catcher. Plus we know James needs resting regularly and Carlo still doesn't trust Gordon as we witnessed at the weekend
