Everton LGBT Supporters Group

Hey everybody my name is Jorge Rodrigues. I have been an everton supporter for the past yr or so (new to watching BPL) and love this football club so much. I have started up a supporters group focusing on the LGBT community (or people who support LGBT rights) for everton supporters. I am doing that because I feel we can be ahead of the curve and get a huge group of people to support these supporters but also the causes they bring with it. The group's league is Rainbow Toffees- The Everton LGBT Supporters Group. I am trying to get a huge amount of support because I know globally there is a ton of people who are gay or lesbian (or who support their rights) that are evertonians. So I thought this would be a good way of bringing it to ppls attention. I am hoping to get enough support to make it the official support group from the everton football club. Thanks again guys.

I see both sides of the issue....I can see a need for a 'fear free' zone....hopefully that will lead to ignorance free zones everywhere...

I hope so tooo... I am hoping that by having this group out there, we can start breaking down barriers and get people to not be ignorant towards others!

All joking aside this has been the gayest Everton forum for quite some time mate. So hope you can find a home here.

Its that gay its ok to openly talk about X Factor every weekend and get excited about it.

You can also wear toms and skype other men without fear of persecution.

Mate you're pushing at an open door on this site I remember thinking wtf??? on first reading the openly gay stuff even suggested "GOT" stood for Gay Old Toffees.

Quite a shock for a tremendous old bigot like me but I'm used to it now and I'm so relaxed about it all I've started using the missus soft liquid soap in the shower.
