Hey everybody my name is Jorge Rodrigues. I have been an everton supporter for the past yr or so (new to watching BPL) and love this football club so much. I have started up a supporters group focusing on the LGBT community (or people who support LGBT rights) for everton supporters. I am doing that because I feel we can be ahead of the curve and get a huge group of people to support these supporters but also the causes they bring with it. The group's league is Rainbow Toffees- The Everton LGBT Supporters Group. I am trying to get a huge amount of support because I know globally there is a ton of people who are gay or lesbian (or who support their rights) that are evertonians. So I thought this would be a good way of bringing it to ppls attention. I am hoping to get enough support to make it the official support group from the everton football club. Thanks again guys.

That's my point though, why should you differentiate based on gender or sexual orientation? There's every reason to have a group for disabled supporters so that they can share resources and have their particular needs met by the club and other football clubs around the country.

Last time I checked gender or sexual orientation was not a basis for special or particular needs? Unless of course you think it is? If so, on what basis?

I dont want anything special or particular I just want the club to recognize that they have an LGBT fan base and an LGBT supporters group.. that is all I do not want to have a special basis at match games that is not what I want... I just want the club to recognize it and such that is all... for other evertonians to realize there is a supporters group out there supporting us.

Couldn't careless if you're gay/lesbian/trans/bi - if you're a blue, you're a blue and one of us, to separate supporters into sections because of of sexual orientation is a bit senseless to me.

I do not think it is senseless... I would like other evertonians to know that there is a group with similar attributes as them... who are gay or lesbian and support the everton football club. I do not want to be secluded in a different section... I will personally say that would be a terrible idea... I want the club to recognize its LGBT fanbase and hopefully in the future this supporters group can work with them to help reach out to the LGBT community in Liverpool but also around the world. That was my ultimate goal of making this group... it won't be easy but things in life are never easy. I hope this puts things into perspective about it. Keep in mind I have found that Arsenal and Red****e have also done it as well as Wigan Athletic... we should do this as well and dominate in this area of marketing with the LGBT community.

You just need to search carlos Rainbow Toffees- The Everton LGBT Supporters Group on facebook and it should pop up. I can request you into the group and see who else that you know who supports LGBT rights or who is LGBT to join the group as well. That way we can get a good solid amount of people.

I do not think that can constiute as somebody who is gay who showers with lads every weekend... no offense.. even thought it is tempting but I can only imagine how uncomfortable many of ur lads must be in the shower all naked every weekend!

I didn't say it was gay, I said I'm in touch with my gay side. I wouldn't say anyone is uncomfortable in there, that is until someone starts walking around with a stonker.

Yeah but it's with the local rugby team....









And he doesn't even play for them.
