...much appreciated. Still looking glum, it’s going to be very difficult for any of these youngsters to force themselves into contention at Everton. Indeed, it might be difficult moving them on given they’ll be on very decent contracts. I’m still surprised Pennington in particular was given a 3 year deal.
 
very few problems in life cant be solved over double figures pints of Pils and 60 million of those nice notes with the nice British lady of the German grandparents smiling back at ya from the crisp new notes.

"Williams is a youngster learning his way - but he can at times win the ball back and play and look like he can to some extent control a midfield at this level. It isn't consistent. I've never ever, once even for 10 minutes see Vela look remotely capable of doing that. Williams has work to do to get to the level needed."

...chuffed for Pennington, hoping he can keep that form for the rest of the season in a struggling Ipswich team.
