Decent height, decent speed, exceptional ability on the ball for a defensive mid, long range passing ability, excellent slide tackling, intimidation, leadership, toughness, and that mongrel that keeps you going until the end. Suck it Wigan we got the good one!
I just think he needs to make his initial rep for his playing ability instead of his hot headedness

"Connolly was on the right like he switched to at Villa and scored from. The idea was clearly having his height and aerial ability to attack crosses at the back post and to cause them problems at set pieces plus help us defend against theirs. But it didn't really work like we hoped as we just didn't get enough balls into the box / didn't get him in the box enough."
