Everton players out on loan (2015/16)

Reads a bit blunt:

When asked whether the Charlton dressing room is fragile following their wretched run, the Belgian said: “They are not down, everyone was very disappointed [after the last two results] but we know the only way is to look forward and work hard and the players are willing to do that.

“If players don’t want to do it I’m not going to use them.

“In that case we ended the contract of Conor McAleny today so it needed to give an example.”

Hmmm....disappointing. Maybe Chris Long mk 2.

To be fair, it seems like the loan was due to finish on November 7 anyway, so it might just have been an easy way for a temporary manager to make a point to his team by 'terminating' a loan which was due to end in two days. But he was definitely not a fan favourite down there.

Thinking about , while I agree on the comments here about McAleny, I'd be a bit p@ssed off if I was him regarding those Charlton comments. He's still a comparatively young player, is actually someone else's player and their manager shouldn't be making such comments in public. The contract only had a few days to go, if there's anything to be said its in private to him and the club, rather than label a young player just so you can come over as a tough guy who stands no nonsense.

Ya it must be hard to make an impression at a club thats struggling and fighting a relegation battle to.will he be loaned out to another club?he might be a good fit at maybe somewhere like brighton or middlesbrough?

Championship
Fulham - Garbutt on sub's bench, brought on in 73rd minute in 2-5 home loss to Birmingham (with match at 1-3). Garbutt's replacement in the team (Husband, on loan from Middlesbrough) sent off in 46th minute.

OS Match Report

FA Cup 1st Round
Wigan: Francisco Junior - started in 0-4 away defeat to Bury. Substituted in 62nd minute with score at 0-3.

OS Match Report
"O’Donnell then had to save a header from Peter Clarke, which he held onto well, before both Junior and Tom Soares had long range attempts, both narrowly wide.
The second goal came after a clinical breakaway with the ball hitting the back of Latics’ net seconds after having been in the Bury box. Jacob Mellis reached a high ball before Junior was able to control it on the edge of the box and he sprinted the full length of the pitch and set up Mayor who fired home from just inside the area."
"Latics did have a chance in the 57th when Wildschut went on a trademark gallop, found Junior on the edge of the box, he slotted in Jacobs but the effort was deflected off Cameron for a corner. Power for Junior was Caldwell’s final throw of the dice on the hour mark, just as Bury brought on Leon Clarke, and it took the former Latics striker around five minutes to make his mark, converting Joe Riley’s cross from close range."

Doncaster Rovers: Conor Grant and Felipe Mattioni start in 2-0 home win over Stalybridge Celtic.

OS Match Report
"Conor Grant went close minutes later as he struck a shot from the edge of the area but it was well saved by Tony McMillan."
"Conor Grant caused problems for the defence again with a menacing run forwards before he was chopped down on the edge of the area."
"As Conor Grant delivered the corner the ball fell to Williams six yards out on the angle, hitting the ball on the volley it beat McMillan to find the bottom corner."

Plenty of Twitter mentions:

14' Felipe charges forward and attempts to play in Williams but good defending stops the attack
Grant delivers... but McMillan collects
33' Rovers break down the right. It's a corner. Conor Grant to take...It loops into the box and McMillan catches with ease
39' Good little attack there by Rovers. First real look at the Brazilian Mattioni as he broke forward
48' Good move involving Mattioni, the new lad playing like he's from Brazil....
51' FREEKICK, Conor Grant with a great run. He's chopped down right on the edge of the box
59' Great pace from Mattioni, he weaves his way past two men and is brought down 30 yards from goal. Freekick to Rovers. Nothing comes of it but that man looks good.
Good corner from Conor Grant to create that opening for Williams. (Ed. for second goal)
Conor Grant tries to bend it in but it goes way over the bar
73' Williams pings a ball wide right with the outside of his boot, Mattioni collects and runs at the defence. He beats his man and fires one
84' Corner to Rovers, Williams, Anderson and Mattioni linking up well. Grant takes it and it comes to nothing
87' Mattioni into Anderson, he shoots, just wide

Fan comments re Mattioni
"All seriousness, he looks premier league quality. I know we weren't playing anyone but what a player."
"Looked class. MoM for me, every promising move came from him. He has it all - pace, power, strength and good to feet as well. Against very poor opposition even by non league standards, but still."
"Lund played right of a back three and Felipe played right wing back. Felipe could not play right of a back three. His attacking qualities and pace is better than any other right sided player at the club."
"Thought Felipe was class, but some what surprised that he wasn't subbed towards the end as he looked like he was blowing out of his arse late on."
"This fella was top drawer for me today , I know against lesser opposition but for me never broke sweat and made football look so easy. He has nearly everything to be top class, providing he has got over his bad luck .Agree also he struck up a good relationship with Copps. Lets hope we can see a lot more of him in a Rovers shirt."

He has been at Colwyn Bay too had rave reviews there too in a struggling team being kept busy!
Yep, he's climbed the leagues already this season, first Norwich Victoria then the league above with Colwyn Bay and now the league above that with Halifax Town. He's impressed at every club so far but this will be his first ever game against a professional league side.
