0-1 down atm with goal apparently a deflection.
Been listening to some commentary of it, sounds like Griffiths has been a bit dodgy coming for every ball and not getting to them all. In the last 10 minutes though he's pulled off 2 great saves to keep them in the game.

You can watch all fa cup goals on BBC site, possibly could've done better but hard to tell from the one angle they show

Ended 4-0, not a great first game for him although their defense sounds pretty bad, Griffiths made 3 good saves but every time they came forwards they were able to get a shot away. The commentators seemed to think their finishing was clinical so I don't think he made any mistakes that cost a goal but maybe he could have done better on some of the goals, I haven't seen them yet.

Had a look at the Halifax Town forum, the majority seem to like him despite the 4-0 scoreline:

"The keeper has had a couple of dodgy moments but I think he's just desperate to do well. "
"I know it's his first game but keeper hasn't filled me with any confidence at all yet. Flapping at crosses and not connecting with his punches."
"after watching Glennon this new keeper is excellent, won a one on one, comes for crosses, keeps his kicking on the pitch and has just made a superb save"
"Positives: Griffiths had a really good game and could've been 6 or 7 without some top saves"
"Griffiths did what he could. He was looking for the short pass but it was putting us in trouble a lot and he eventually started to realise. However, he made 2-3 very good saves that Glennon wouldn't have made although Glennon would have been better at collecting corners than Griffiths due to him constantly punching it."
"thought Griffiths was excellent other than one dodgy punch"
"Keeper made 3 or 4 saves to stop it being too embarrassing, but his kicking was no better than Glennon and he came for every cross and missed almost all of them. Jury very much still out."
"Town passed the ball around well at times especially in the first half including passing it out from the back, nice to have a keeper who thought quickly. 2nd half the defence was shown up massively and it really could have been 6 or 7. 2 one on ones the new keeper did well with."

This seems to be a new tactic, where we send really young players out to get experience at a really low level. Normally they'd probably wait a season and go for a league 1/championship loan.

Yeah it's odd at times where they are sent to, and it often seems that in comparison to loan deals we see at other clubs that we set our sights low. I guess they are looking fairly local and with a view to helping out some clubs like Colwyn Bay. Personally I'd like them to set a limit of National League, there's enough within a reasonable distance of FF like Tranmere, Wrexham, Chester, Southport , Altrincham .
It's difficult to see our strategy at times. Pennington had a good loan period last season , nothing this but no U21 games recently. Getting Jones is another you'd think needs a loan.

Pennington is injured
Its only the less highly rated players and goalkeepers go out to the low level places. You'll never see the likes of Walsh or dowell go to non league football

better for young lads to be playing competitively compared to the reserves.

any news on our new right back getting into the squad yet?

Mattioni? The Doncaster Rovers fans love him, basically saying he's the best player they've had in a long time and he's clearly prem quality, and that all their attacks started from him.

Bare in mind though, he's only had one chance to play one game so far and it was the FA cup first round, so I think they were actually against a non-league side. If he's got any chance here though he should easily be the best player in their team.
