Everton players out on loan (2015/16)

hes basically 4th choice left back for us (maybe even 5th soon if connolly keeps going as he is) so has no chance of getting in there. maybe better for him to try another position. fwiw i dont actually think he has a future with us in any position though.

I would look at converting him into a left midfielder/winger!
I know we dont tend to play with someone who hugs the wing and can whip in a ball on his left (we use the full back for that)
But its all about options if tactic A isnt working

While it's hard to disagree with your assessment I still have an inkling of faith in Garbutt, based really on those few performance last season at LB when Baines was out. On occasions his crosses from the left were better than Baines. I think he has good ability but there's something lacking in attitude . I'm not sure what went on with initially not signing a contract last season but it allowed Galloway to get ahead of him. And there have been occasions when tv has shown goals against Fulham where he was was just trotting back into position as the opposition scored. Similarly in an England u21 game he was easily outshone for energy by the right back ( The guy at WHU who's on loan from Arsenal ?). Given the number of ex players who shone more at Championship level but didn't make it for us, Duffy, Long etc, it's going to be a tough ask.

Carl jenkinson?

Say this season would it not have been better to have garbutt or mcaleny or both on the bench this year.sink or swim.either have it or you dont?

Carl jenkinson?

I actually rate Jenkinson, so its no surprise he has his moments of real attacking threat, Garbutt is a decent player but I feel that because we were all scared of what will happen after baines has gone, it gave us a glimmer of hope we could eventually replace baines. Personally I think Galloway would be the better of the two.

The only thing about galloway is he offers you nothing going forward though.you can nearly see the look of panic on his face when he has to cross the halfway line but as he is primarily a central defender thats explainable.if you could combine galloway and garbutt you would have one hell of a player.

Carl jenkinson?
Aye that's him , ta. Possibly a harsh comparison as he's played PL a lot, but more accomplished than Garbutt.

Galloway is odd as an attacker. He has so much energy he's always in the box or there about , but often doesn't take the right final position to finish off a move. Still he tucked one away nicely for the U21s ....... hes on a roll.

Ya and he was unlucky start of the season when baines got injured he was away on loan at fulham and galloway took his chance.would have been a perfect chance start of the season to see wheter he was up to the job or not.

.....I like Garbutt but was very surprised when he signed a contract extension. I suspect most in his situation would've taken advantage of a Bosman and lucrative signing fee with another club. I might be wrong, but I wonder if his loyalty will not be rewarded as he appears to have slipped down the pecking order (probably behind Baines, Oviedo and Galloway). From a club perspective, the contract could mean receipt of a transfer fee.

Ya exactly.he never shys away from looking for the ball.always shouting for it but then when he does get the pass in the final 3rd he hasn't a clue what to do with it.:D

Ya he might have been told at the time or assumed that he was going to be second to baines next year as oviedo always seemed to be injured and pushing on in age and looking like his contract wouldnt be renewed and then galloway gets his chance and takes it and oveido signs new deal so it really isnt looking to good for him.

Ideally with their age profile mcaleny and garbutt should have been on the bench this year.sink or swim.you would hope with them being at the club under contract they wouldnt be hindering the progress of any of the younger lads coming through.

we would have a got a decent fee for him anyway but would probably still be waiting on it like burnley are for their ings money!

Thing is with Garbutt he doesnt seem to br performing at Fulham for whatever reason,so its not looking very likely that we would receive a decent fee for him.

i thought he looked good for us lasr season though.

I'd love for Walsh, Ledson and Dowell to go the same club and put together a full season at League 1 level.

There must be a club out there that would want that deal.

Surely it would be win/win if we covered all their wages.
If Oxford go up, maybe they could all join Jonjoe Kenny?

A lovely idea, but highly unlikely to take place I suspect.
