That's great for Pennington, though I do try to avoid clicking on these Twitter thingy's , Ive had few weird people from the likes of Barnsley and Yeovil following me on twitter , but think they've gone now as I rarely post.

So Pennington, Walsh, Kenny , Ledson doing well. McAleny getting mixed reviews but scoring the odd cracker, Garbutt's loan is proving disappointing now, is McGeedy still at Sheff Wed ? Is that it as I can't keep track on whose injured and returned e.g. where is Connor Grant ?

I was wondering about Grant the other day - he was getting rave reviews for Doncaster earlier in the season, really playing well but he has disappeared, last time he played - from what i can see is 12/3/16. hasn't been in the squad for the last 7 games.

Actually ,thinking about it , I can answer my own question , Grant is back at FF. He appeared in the u 21 photo last week of Courtney Duffus getting his U21 PL Player of the month award. I would guess he's injured as he's not in the u 21 squads.

Edit :I think his contract expires in July so he needs game time if he's still to prove him self. Could be let go as a casualty of so many good younger players coming through behind him.

Cheers mate , as I thought . Then I had another thought ...... he doesn't meet you're criteria of a " youth loan" and I was thinking of posting this elsewhere, but does anybody know what's happened to Mattioni, last seen back from loan and playing for the U21s ?

Oh, I forgot about him. I had been covering him when he was with Doncaster but I'd assumed he was injured back at FF.

He's injured again isn't he? got injured playing for doncaster, played a U21 game and got injured after that not. Not heard of him again.

League One
Wigan Athletic - Conor McAleny started on bench and came on in 65th minute of 4-1 home win over Southend Utd (Wigan effectively promoted)

OS Match Report
"Grigg wasn’t finished there, and had one more golden opportunity on 74 minutes before being subbed off soon after, when he met substitute Conor McAleny’s low cross from the right, but couldn’t keep his first time effort on target."

Twitter stuff
66' McAleny straight into the action as he's teed up on the edge of the area by Wildschut, but he can't quite get it on target (4-0)
74' CHANCE! Will Grigg goes close again! McAleny feeds him from the right hand side with a low cross, but he can't guide home! (4-0)

Random fan comments
McAleny certainly had a poorish game today. could/should have had a goal with his first touch, and wasn't particularly strong or quick enough too many times
Agree that both McAleny and Vuckic were poor today
McAleny poor again when he came on. No coincidence that we looked far more threatening without him in the team. He just doesn't contribute the quality that Yanic and Jacobs provide.

League Two
Cambridge Utd - started and was subbed (injured) in 42nd minute of 2-1 away win over Notts County

OS Match Report
"The travelling Amber Army will have been equally disappointed to see Everton loanee Ryan Ledson hobble off the pitch minutes later, with Shaun Derry forced into an early substitution as Jimmy Spencer took to the field at his former club."

Oxford Utd - Jonjoe Kenny played full match in 2-0 home win over Hartlepool

OS Match Report

Twitter stuff
12' Kenny does battle with his opposite number, winning the ball. The pools man is left floored, but there's no foul 1-0
32' Good challenge from Kenny to break down a run from Thomas into the area. 1-0
41' Another great challenge from Kenny prevents a Pools attack through the wing. 1-0

Yeovil Town - Liam Walsh played full game and was booked in 1-1 home draw with leaders Northampton Town

OS Match Report
"Liam Walsh and Connor Roberts combined well to send the right-back into the box, and his cut-back to Francois Zoko found the striker in space but Northampton's defence got bodies in the way to send the shot behind for a corner."
"Walsh nearly put Yeovil back in front with half an hour of the game to go but the youngster's free kick from 25 yards just skimmed the bar as it went over."

Twitter stuff
85: Referee blows his whistle. Again. This time we think for a foul by Walsh. And now Walsh gets booked.
Yellow - John Joe O'Toole booked for throwing toys out of his pram over Walsh appealing for a penalty that wasn't given

League Two
Yeovil Town - Liam Walsh played full match in 4-3 away win over Barnet

OS Match Report
"Town secured the win in the dying stages when Krysiak gathered a corner and released Walsh, who broke quickly to release Cornick, who made no mistake in slotting home to make it 4-3."

Twitter stuff
8: Free kick to Town midway in the Barnet half. Dolan takes short to Walsh, but the Everton loanee slips when he shoots.

Fan report
"Then with the game deep into five minutes of added time, Yeovil broke on a counter-attack. Goalkeeper Artur Krysiak fed Liam Walsh by rolling the ball out of his own penalty area and his powerful run up field saw the Everton loanee feed Harry Cornick. The substitute slotted the ball past the keeper and then ran across to 455 deliriously happy Yeovil Town supporters, with the retaining wall between both players and fans disappearing into a single sea of green and white."

Oxford United - Jonjoe Kenny played full match in 2-0 away win over Carlisle United

OS Match Report
"However, that was balanced out by ref Philip Gibbs also missing the ball striking Kenny's arm at the other end on 70, with Hylton having to clear off the line from the corner awarded instead of a penalty."

Twitter stuff
8' Plenty of neat passing from Sercombe and Kenny, before the former breaks and crosses for O'Dowda who heads behind 0-1
29' Kenny denies a chance that has the home side on their feet, his pace enabling him to clear off the line behind Buchel 0-1
71' Shouts for handball from the home support as the ball strikes Kenny in the area, who holds his face. No penalty 0-1

Random fan comments
Jonjoe has come in and done a good job, but for next season I reckon we'd need a senior, permanent player playing at RB.

Cambridge United - Ryan Ledson played full match and was booked in 2-2 home draw with Plymouth Argyle

OS Match Report

Twitter stuff
8' Furlong whips a superb delivery into the Plymouth area, but neither Berry nor Ledson can get on the end of it 0-0

Random fan comments
Ledson was immense today doing the midfield dirty work - broke up a lot of Plymouth's play.
Some very good individual performances, big shouts to Legge, Furlong, Ismail, Williamson and Ledson who were all outstanding.
Some cracking performances today - Furlong, Coulson, Legge, Ledson and Ismail all take a bow.
Ledson was immense. Banged a tackle in early in the second half that got us in the Habbin bamg up for it.

Swiss Super League
Grasshoppers Zurich - Shani Tarashaj returned from injury and was named on subs bench before being brought on in the 80th minute of 1-2 home defeat to Young Boys Bern
