I'll have to take your word for that MACCA, as I said I didn't see much of him. Everton seem to have done well in holding onto one of the best full backs in Europe, bearing in mind the insane amounts of money floating around in The Premiership.

Only one way to find out.
Be a shame if in a couple of years he has been the best fullback in the Premier League for Southampton and the other lot come along to their usual watering hole and sign him.
When £25m is bandied about, it's usually money up front and then spread over a couple of years with bonus payments thrown in, reading some of the comments on here you would think that it was being stopped out of next weeks wages with some.

I’d sign him mate, but he better be bloody good as he’s got a tough act to follow.

Yes mate we did. Man Utd bid for him. They haven’t bid for Tierney have they?
 

Apparently we’re offering 10 million upfront and another 6 in add ons. Celtic want the full amount.

Step up from what? we bought Baines from Wigan who were i the premier league. he signed a new contract with Wigan in February 2005 despite being linked to a number of Premier League clubs and extended his contract again after impressive displays in his first season in the Premier League. made 29 appearances for Everton during his first season making lb his in his second season
