Why does anyone care what the fee is?

Most people like to get a bargain, or at least get value for money. Especially if you have limited funds.

The fact that we spunked so much last window doesn't help our situation either.

Can't see us going beyond £30m which is itself a substantial sum for someone who is still a young man with a lot to prove in a major league.

Feels to me like this came from Celtics side of things to drum up more interest in the lad and drive the price up.

Why does anyone care what the fee is?

It only makes sense to not care about the fee if you have unlimited money.

We don't which is why we all care what the fee is! We want the fee to be as low as possible so we can use the remaining money on other players.

In short the better we spend our resources the higher chance of success we have.

Which is ultimately what we all want right?
