Man Utd transfer news: Kieran Tierney has been tipped to remain at Celtic
That’s according to former Hoops striker Scott McDonald, who suggests more opportunities may open up for the player if he remains in Scotland.
Reports have linked Tierney with a move to Old Trafford this summer, with Everton also said to be interested in signing the 21-year-old.
The talented left-back has previously stated he has no intention of leaving the Glasgow giants in the near future while boss Brendan Rodgers also remains confident he’ll be lining up for Celtic next season.
McDonald admits his former club may find it difficult to turn down a big-money offer from the Premier League but he has backed Tierney to frustrate his suitors a little bit longer.
“I think he might possibly just stay on for even another year, maybe two more,BBC Radio Scotland.

I don't understand why this thread has turned into a Scottish league attack. Had we to end up playing Everton in Europe I think Celtic would knock Everton out. Certainly judging on recent past results in Europe
We’re not talking about Celtic, just the teams that you play.

He should deffo just jib off his boyhood club and follow the money.

Never did Rooney, Jeffers, Rosco, Michael Ball etc any harm..

It seems to be the way, I'm afraid. I've been here for two days now and it's a stream of xenophobia.

Hopefully the Scots who voted to remain are watching.

And for some strange reason they tend to think that their Championship is akin to La Liga.

I’ve had a think about this and I’ve come to the conclusion that, if we pursue this, we are gonna get ripped off.

Mull that over folks. I bid you a pleasant evening.

Bonsoir
