The problem for them (and it’s why I can’t stand Celtic) is that they see themselves as perennial league winners who are in Europe’s top competition every year. The rest of the world of course sees a totally unbalanced one horse league and a team regularly outclassed and embarrassed in Europe. I guess this move depends on what Tierney sees. He may not what to move to a club that doesn’t offer European football as a minimum, but that didn’t stop Van Dijk moving to Southampton. Premier League should be enough of an allure at this stage.

Its is around championship level. People in England over estimate how good the standard of some of their own leagues are.

The SPL is utter tosh.

Doesn't mean there aren't good players in it.

Tierney is one of them. He's an excellent prospect. He plays in a position we need and has the attributes to play the way Silva most-likely wants to play.

If a deal can be done, it makes sense.

heard a rumour just before xmas , we had sounded them out about a move and the player was up for it.
