Transfer Rumour Everton poised to make £25m bid for Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney

An absolute top perk of the job, don't know why more don't do it.

I know! Eclimatising yourself in different cultures, weather, food. You'd be insane not to even think about it. British players are notorious when it comes to being homesick, which is a shame as it would improve them in many ways.

Tierney will definitely be playing for Manchester United in about 5 years. McCarthy will probably be playing for Crystal Palace in a couple years.

Even Chris Sutton has said that Tierney is the best British left back. If teams in England weren't so snobbish about Scottish football then Liverpool would've gotten Van Dijk for £13m, as opposed to £75m.
But your not sure if they will flop. Look at McGeady he was also rated highly, venegoor of hesselink, another one. Scott Sinclair.

They are snobbish for good reason, its dire.

.

Mate, it's easily on par with the English Championship. If you're calling your second tier "dire" then maybe your football is In more trouble than you think.

We'll get a gaugue on the true standard of the SPL when Aberdeen meet Burnley in a couple of weeks. If Burnley will it'll be one goal over two legs.

That and 'heafty' yesterday, unusual mistakes for a writer.

Interested by the Schneiderlin to Marseille stuff.

I meant in a possible swap deal ie cash plus macarthy I agree with your sentiments about tierney hes going to the top.

Ah. I get it.

And yes, Tierney is destined for the very top. It'll be interesting to see if he wants to go abroad as I could see Real or Barca being interested very soon.

Improve their football and their life skills.
Hey ho.
Anyway I hope we can bag Tierney and at least take him on some European jollies, although I know he's not new to that.

I don’t think you are wrong, but is he good enough to walk into any of the top 4-6 sides? He’s good, but he’s not THAT good.
It's hard to tell. For a price tag of £20M+ though I reckon we'll have stiff competition.

In fairness to McGeady, he DID have the quality but the fact that he was a little bit of an idiot really put paid to his development. Hesselink was never lauded, and Sinclair only had one good season.

To be honest, mate, I hope you get him. If anything, you'll pretty much double your money when you sell him.

The lad couldn't even walk. Yes, he probably passed a medical, but not a traditional one. I doubt James McCarthy is akin to sleeping beauty and unable to undertake a slight medical.

A traditional one?

You think players still do medicals by running up and down?
