Everton reopen talks with Sam Allardyce

Ahh come on! I mean no harm. I’ve been mainly respectful on the whole and only react to posts that I find laughable about our manager. When the posts are balanced and fair, I give a balanced and fair response.

Taking your point, yes, I was concerned. Very concerned. Always thought it was unlikely he would leave and said as much but the lack of certainty on Silva’s part had me worried. Not saying it’s impossible but there is minimal chance you are getting Silva in the summer now. It’s early days but if Silva keeps us going in the trajectory we are currently are, why would he walk in the Summer as has been suggested? He may leave for a Top 6 club if a job becomes available. Or for a team in the CL on the continent. But the Premier League is the place to be and he joined us over Porto in the summer. Don’t make too much of this so-called break-clause because IF it exists, it’s unlikely to be a clause that means he can just walk or leave for minimal amounts.

Anyway, I digress. I’m sure you’d rather talk amongst yourselves at this stage and don’t need advice from a fan of another club, I accept that. All I will say is that I have read lots of debate on here about the quality of your squad - sometimes a squad of poor individuals can do well by playing as a team. I’d say that should be the focus regardless of who is on the touchline.

Fair one. I’ve got no gripe with Watford, or any of your fans coming on here, you are all welcome as far as I’m concerned, and I like the club. I wouldn’t be too happy if another club was trying to take our manager either, though I was when Moyes went to the Mancs!

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Because we are in serious trouble and deem it necessary to go for someone who at least has a track record in fighting off relegation I guess would be the logic.

I'm not too bothered about going "low". I assume you mean about his "crook" tag? This season we have been cheering a bloke who was allegedly beating his missus, some of us seem to be upset that a Jailbird may be getting ditched from our coaching staff and some even want woman threatening Moyes to return.

Obviously I am over exaggerating all of them but the crook tag is along the same lines.

Is he my choice? Of course not, but if he is the chosen one then I will be fully behind him (not literally thank God...) until he leaves me reason not to be.

I just don't think we should be doing it mate. If it was mid March I would maybe then till the end of the
Season but it's not and I just can't.

Come and live with me Matty, I'm not keen on football and we can spend our weekends watching movies and trying it on with women that have no interest in either of us. We can then snare the ones that are left in the pub at the end of the night because nobody wanted to take them home and we can take them home so they can watch us make love to each other.
Can you adopt me please Bungs?

Lets see how the unspeakable divvy plays the announcement.
For me, it reeks of Lynx and Kenwright; not Zegna and Moshiri.

- young hungry up and comer in David Moyes = BK. When first announced, relatively cheap, pragmatist, KITAPO personified and will cut his cloth according to BK's budget
- Martinez - also relatively cheap and willing to work within a sell-to-buy budget, whilst selling romantic nonsense and dreams to the Evertonians
- Koeman - Moshiri's big name, big budget appointment. Totally undermined by the Summer window transfers, squad deficiencies and player power

Was going to mention that too.. Moyes was the lowest paid manager in the league when he signed... was a cheap option , as all of kenwrights dealings usually are

I wasn't that bothered about him at the start.. mainly as i thought he had zero chance of it. Now i'm disgusted at Everton for even considering him. This man has taken bribes on more than one occasion for his own personal gain, he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near football.
