BFS is a cretin, there are serious questions about his financial honesty and I honestly would have almost anyone apart from him manage us (including Pulis), but if he recognizes what is wrong with the way the team is set up and fixes it then he will probably be a success.

No, but even if they had drilled them to carry out the prescribed tactics we would not have seen any kind of success. How many other teams in Europe (never mind other teams in Europe that are likely to win things) are set up like we are?

The point I'm making is that the hands off approach is a common thread with the last 3 failures at the club. Moyes clearly was a driller and to an extent it worked. Hell, I'd even guess that SAF was a driller in his own way. I could see Pep drilling his players in a very hands on manner to get them to play the way he wants.

I know, but the point with Moyes is that he had (for most of the time anyway) the players playing in a way that they believed in. The players believed in Martinez for most of his first season as well, until Palace beat us in Rick Wee's game and he went mad.
