My mates a united fan and was saying he thought he should have been given longer and at least another transfer window as he got us above where we should be from when he came in. He is usually (for a united fan at least) pretty good with his judgement but asked him if he would have him at united and it was then a resounding no. Funny that really.

..the vilification should be pointed at Walsh more than Allardyce. Allardyce at least done the job he was brought in to do, to that extent Moshiri might be content with his appointment.

We now need somebody more progressive.

Walsh needs to take his fair share of the blame Eggs, no doubt about it. And hopefully we'll find out that he's been replaced too.

But Walsh isn't the man who set the team up so negatively every week, and neither has he sat behind a microphone countless times winding up fans and criticising players and colleagues.

Lets put this chapter behind us as quickly as possible. I dont think any long term damage has been done to the club, so hopefully we can move forward by making the right choice of DoF and manager this week.

The media can’t understand ambition. It’s baffling to them how any club outside the top 6 would be unhappy at being part of the cannon fodder. Imagine if we actually started being goodnext season, heads would be falling off all over the show.

We should have kept the criticisms to football style , his communication style (pressers and motivational talks) and his attitude - not his appearance etc

Only fat people are sensitive to this. Who cares. If you choose to become a public figure it's all on the table, I'm not excusing it but it is what it is.

Look at what arsenal did to their non fat manager who actually achieved something in the league.
