We've become one of those stale mid-table clubs that sack their manager every other season.

Not really. We've made a series of poor managerial appointments. Hopefully this time we'll get it right.

In fairness (West Ham game aside) Pickford has improved throughout the season and also stopped that annoying habit of palming saves straight back into the danger area. So far dos to the goalie coach but I have no idea what Sammy Lee and Shakespeare have done here.

We basically sat deep and bought Tosun and Walcott to take advantage of far easier fixtures whilst injured players returned. I can’t thinkmof many players who ‘improved’ under their coaching.

Well that was a horrible 6 month nightmare. It's a pity it can't just be wiped from the records.
You just know that in future, whenever there is negative news about him (almost inevitable) the newspaper headlines will begin 'Sam Allardyce, the former Everton manager'

Im liking the professors work here, nice and decisive, BFS has done his job, thank you and goodbye. I just hope the appointment of his successor will be just as quick and decisive, we don't want a drawn out affair, as it could affect the recruitment.

its kinda mad how other fans and the media are against us with this, no other fan would want Big Sam as their manager and the media think 8th is good enough. I honestly cannot remember that the media were that botherd that Spurs sack villa boas and he was pushing for champ league.

I don’t think it is other fans as such.

Practically every non Everton fan I speak to hates Sam the way we do.

It is the media which spouts all this bollox.

The media can’t understand ambition. It’s baffling to them how any club outside the top 6 would be unhappy at being part of the cannon fodder. Imagine if we actually started being goodnext season, heads would be falling off all over the show.

They were all made up Leicester returned to their rightful place in the pecking order
