One of them wants to win stuff with Everton. The other one used us as a stepping stone from the moment he arrived.

The squad and first team just looks more balanced now doesn't it.
Let’s see what happens on Saturday. The squad and first team just looks more balanced now doesn't it.

Not half. Was thinking that earlier, lob in a Baines and a Coleman, maybe a dash of Mori, and things do look sunnier.
108 goals in 12 years.
TWELVE YEARS.

I know you've mentioned it a million times mate about chemistry/partnerships/balance/athleticism and this is one of the first signings In a long time where I've thought "yeah, I can see why we are signing him and he will bring x and y which we haven't got".
Hopefully he hits the ground running and puts in a good performance Saturday. 3 points and a bit of positivity required after the poor showings over Christmas
Yeah it probably will be. That lot across the park have a list of crap a new signing has to come out with when interviewed. Big club, history... yada yada yada. I'm not sure who's biography it was in that basically said as much. I'm sure they asked him to say he always supported Liverpool as a kid even though it was known he supported another club.Think its all part of the spiel the club pedal to him & his agent.

..absolutely. The thing with him is that you know what you’re getting. Unlike Bolasie, Walcott is uncomplicated. He’s a fine mover on a football pitch, he’ll run in behind defenders and he strikes a ball well. My only reservation is ‘whether the game is still important to him’, whether he retains the same type of hunger that the likes of Rooney does, but his interview and demeanour since signing are very encouraging.
There’s no doubt he’s a good player and fits the criteria you highlight.
Indeed and with an actual left back and someone in the middle who will look for an attacking pass or to open up play and we'll be much healthier. The squad and first team just looks more balanced now doesn't it.
